Recommendations

Advices for parents

You come to spend your holidays in the mountains, in our resort of La Plagne, we are at altitude, you must therefore take into account a certain number of criteria:
  • Dress your child warmly: anorak, hat, mittens or gloves, sunglasses (- 6 years old) or mask (+ 6 years old), handkerchiefs! Even if the weather is very nice, the weather in the mountains can change quickly. Always check the weather forecast ;
  • Also consider a sunscreen with a high protection factor ;
  • Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for children, compulsory for certain levels (competition, freestyle) ;
  • Remember to put a small snack in your child's pocket ;
  • No sticks until 1st star! The instructors will make you take the 1st star mid-week sticks (generally on Wednesday);
  • Remember to go to the toilet before class ;
  • Arrive in advance at the course meeting places (see Bellecôte map) ;
  • Avoid attending lessons and calling out to your child during lessons ;
  • Leave it to the instructors to decide on the possible change of level ;
  • Rent your equipment from specialists. If you are already equipped, have your equipment checked and adjusted by a professional in order to have all the assets required to fully enjoy your stay ;
  • Parents must be present at the end of the lesson to pick up the children ;

Do not forget to inform our instructors of any information relating to your child that seems useful to you!

Your child is on vacation and the goal is for him to have fun and want to come back .
Trust our team and listen carefully to their recommendation.

Good communication with the instructor from the first days of lessons is essential.
